Trying to run this game almost murdered my laptop and that was just the demo... Shame since I enjoyed it. That’s what I get for buying an extremely cheap laptop.

I’ve always been a devotee of the PC gaming, so no laptop was really going to cut it for me. Instead, I have a desktop that needs to be slightly reassembled every time I move it a significant distance, because I’ve lost/forgotten/not been arsed to put back in a rather large selection of screws. Also, my SSD is attached via duct tape, just because.

I have a cheap Lenovo laptop with some form of low speed i3, integrated graphics and 4gb of ram. I mostly just use it for work and faffing around with emulators. I have a PS4 for gaming, although sometimes I do wish I could play some of the PC only stuff. Barely have the time to play the games I already have though.

I’d like to have a career in the video game industry - I’m not holding my breath, but still - so I make a point of keeping up with as much as I can.

I enjoy my gaming, (have a PS2, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Game Boy Colour, Xbox 360 and am looking into getting a Sega Mega Drive) but I don’t pretend to know a whole lot about it. I play a lot in summer between uni terms but during term time I just play online with friends now and again.

If I start earning good money I’ll probably invest in a PC though.

I would rather like a Vita, for Persona 4 Golden alone...

The thing about buying a PC is that it really is an investment—you’re spending out up-front, but you’ll end up saving an awful lot of money in the long run. There’s no way I could play as much as I do if I had to pay console prices for games.

It’s a great game, I only have 30 hours in it at the moment but I’ll get round to finishing it some day.

I rarely pay much for games, I get everything on the PSN store half price (go halves with my room mate), PS plus gives me free stuff each month and then I find good deals on second hand games a fair bit. Haven’t paid full for a game since GT6 (that was a mistake).

Plus all my friends have playstation so I always have someone to play online with.

PS Plus is a fantastic service, from everything I’ve heard. Unfortunately, I’m only really prepared to invest in one of the two console online services, and all my friends have Xboxes. As the only reason I even have a console is to play multiplayer with people I know, and for the occasional exclusive - Forza and Halo, mainly - I don’t really have much choice but to go with Xbox Live.

That’s fair enough, I originally went with playstation because I liked the exclusives (and I have the 360 because it was really cheap and I love Forza) but having friends on it was definitely a motivation too. Chances are if my friends played Xbox I’d have been swayed that way.
